An unidentified man who is of a different sexual orientation was set on fire during an attack by another man at an open in the Lady Musgrave area on Wednesday night.
It is understood that following a dispute among a group of homosexuals, one of the men poured a flammable agent on a man that was sleeping in an open lot and set him on fire.
The injured man was then dumped in a gully, before the police came to his rescue and rushed him to hospital. The injured man has been admitted, however his condition is unknown.
During an interwiew with CVM TV News one of the men chastised local gay rights group JFLAG for not being of any assistance to them.
