And all those who are concerned about range shooting, nuh haffi worry. On the range the Bullets can be normal price, but the massive tax would apply if taken off compound. This would mean that scrupulous record keeping would have to be maintained annd the extra revenue could bring down the National debt. LoLComment

Boss, increasing taxes on bullets is way over the top. There is a major shortage right now, and some are on a binge buying because they believe the gov't may impose some policies that will have a negative impact on target shooting & hunters.
Watching CNN's feature on crime in Chicago, there are obvious loop holes that need fixing in IL. Gun registration & reporting of stolen firearms, limit to the number of guns you can buy a month, background checks at gun shows & purchases over the internet.
