Last night I was reviewing and listening Jamaican artist from the past.

I rank Max Romeo among the most prolific and outstanding. Apart from the attached standard... Max Romeo had many many hits and popular music.

Max was a good writer and did some good tunes back in the days.

bob andy was probably more prolific as a singer song writer but nuff respect to max romeo. he had some very slack chunes to btw ... VERY slack!!

I read he didn't want to record "wet dreams" and the producer said if he didn't he shouldn't come around anymore

Indeed. I was listening to some of the slack ones he did--and smiled. Those songs were benign by todays' standards.

Bob Andy was among the best as a songwriter. Should have had more international success. I hear he was very difficult to work and tour with though.
