Jamaica's dilemma was compared to Greece's, and some have pointed out the obvious differences, primarily the relatively stationary Euro vs the ever fluctuating Ja dollar.
I think the comparison is appropriate,and as such we really need to look at what austerity measures have done in Greece,the unemployment rate has risen significantly and the quality of services as well as the quality of life have reduced drastically.
The stipulations that goes hand in hand with the low interest IMF loans are nothing more than austerity measures.
Somehow, we will fare better than Greece,an absolute pipe dream.
