                  LOL

                  since 1972 the Jamaican dollar has moved from US1 : J0.76 to now !: 92.69 that is 92.93 decline.
                  PNP took it from 0.76 to 1.78 in 72 - 80;
                  JLP took it from 1.78 to 5.50 in 80-89;
                  pnp took it 5:50 to 70.69 in 89 to 2007:
                  JLP took it from 70:69 t0n 86.70 in 07 -11;
                  so far pnp has taken it from 86.70 to 92.69.
                  total decline under JLP =$19.73; TOTAL DECLINE UNDER PNP= $73.20. that is 78.9%.

                    True again, but it leaves out the TIME factor now.

                    Totally valid analysis would combine the amount of change, the basis upon which the change occurred (denominator) and the applicable time period. Otherwise the analysis is unnecessarily colored.
