Once again for the forumites, assault weapons are banned in most of the blue states including CT. There is a lot of ignorance regarding this rifle. The killer at Vtech used two handguns to kill students and it would not have any impact if this rifle was banned. The bushmaster is NOT an assault rifle, it is a semi-automatic rifle.
The military M16 which can fire in automatic, is an assault rifle.
