    A British DJ renowned for his knowledge of reggae has resigned from a leading commercial radio station in protest over what he called its "continued marginalisation" of the genre.

    David Rodigan said he was leaving Kiss FM after 22 years "with great sadness" after being moved to a midnight slot

                Very good..use to enjoy his radio show in Ja..also include Jazz...very informative, very professional...good to hear that he's still doing his thing...will see if I cld listen in sometime..

                  I listen to him all the time on XM radio. I believe he is also the program director for The Joint, the reggae channel.

                  I much prefer the radio program I remember him having in JA, The Quiet Storm. His music knowledge is so vast and you don't get exposed to that in an all-reggae format.

                      Aren't we all now, lol.

                      The Quiet Storm was special though, it introduced me to a lot of world music genres that wasn't played anywhere else on JA radio at the time. He would also play reggae music from groups like Aswad that were not household names in JA.
