  • Fidel rumor or fact?

Just heard that Fidel Castro suffered a massive stroke this evening and is on his last legs. As sad as it is to hear of the misfortune of another human, this must be welcomed news for the millions of Cubans who have been forced to live in his Stalinist hell for the last 60 years.
The hopes of the people have been dashed before. But this could be the real deal.

Not like Batista was running a paradise either... plusses and minuses and always the people get squashed.

Why do you think Cubans want Castor dead? The man has retired hasn't he? You think Democrats feel the same way about Bush? OR Republicans against Clinton? Is that how you feel about Jamaica's past leaders you didn't support?
        Unfortunate.

They talk with Romnesia as if Cuba had a glory period under Batista or before him, Cuba was a dictatorship run by mafiaso, neo colonial capitalism at its best , it ultimately led to the a turn to the other extreme , communism ,at least communism can argue it has educated & given better health care for its masses , something Jamaica with all its freedom & democracy cannot do.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Straddle the fence?. My record is straight on Castro and injustice, and exploitation in all forms.

                Jamaica had Stalinists as leaders?
