As he blossomed on the international scene, Ricardo Powell was described as a "clean striker of the ball." When he failed to live up to Test cricket expectations, he was hailed as a one-day cricket specialist. His career went in limbo thereafter with some very low scores, and now he plays for his adopted home team - Trinidad.
