Dean doesn't live in NY. Surely would contact him but I doubt they would want to pay his travel, hotel, transport and performace.

The musician as to be from the NYC area, and I am sure he will be paid.

I have to take you to the task Rudi, but I am not sure if there are 10 great sax players in Jamaica, why is that so?

You would have to pay plane fair for 400-500 dollars, hotel for at least 120-150 a night and more than likely two to three nights. You would have to pay food and transportation and any other performance expense.

If the occassion is worth it but you may get a complete local band for that price if you look around, and then the fact is if Dean is available.

I wouldn't look to pay more that 400 dollars for that one gig and 400 is the very high end.

Now imagine if his manager or anybody else travel with him.

That is one of the thing killing Jamaican band right now. Travel expense and the fact that promoters are not seeing crowds at concert like in the 90s.

Not sure what you mean. I would be willing to take Dean over anyone you might get sight unseen. Just listen to his rendition of Remption Song.
