Blackwell choose to work with the one with star quality...he didn't choose Bob to be the face of reggae...he worked with an artist who he thought would give him the greatest success...are you saying he made the wrong choice?

There you go again Brick. You need to take a less simplistic view of things when doing your analyses. I have to admit that your view and conclusion are tempting but it's attractiveness is based only on it's simplicity. Try to move beyond superficial, common sense mechanics. Study the issues a little deeper and try to understand and incorporate confounding sociological, psychological, economical/financial, racial, political, musical, geographical issues that went into Blackwell's decision. It is not as simple as you think it is. The lightening of Jamaica, in all forms has a history and a goal. It's not an accident.
It's one of the greatest pranks pulled off on peoples of African origin in the New World. After all it is still going strong 50 years after it's inventors left and has managed to co-opt even many of it's victims in carrying out this scheme. Out of many one people. Time to have a Frank discussion about race on Jamaica. L

As a compromise we can hold forums on profound issues in the new auditorium at the Intellectual Ghetto Law School..

Mua, money is important, but it is not everything. Some people do have values and principles, despite what the so-called "lighter races" in Jamaica might think. It is only a matter of time before they will be forced to realize that, and then, only then will that "Out of many one people" prank will come to an end.

Don't forget, the so called Jamaican "Investors" are merely protected crony haberdashers, and they are the easiest ones to defeat. Think lunch counter boycott in the deep American south, think native peoples of Mexico, think Africo-Brazilians. Don't get too comfortable my friend. This is the information age. Never mind the idiots you see at dancehall stage shows, and Wet and Wild Wednesdays with dungarees down their asses and cell phones in their back pockets, and half-naked sluts with tatoos extending from their necks to their groins. Think Greece 9/26/12, think Syria, think Egypt. You have been warned.
