One of two men, who allegedly robbed a motorist yesterday afternoon on Robinson Road, in Kingston is now dead.
The police say the robber, whose identity has not been released, was shot and killed by the motorist who is a licensed firearm holder.
The Hunts Bay Police report that shortly after 2 o’ clock, the firearm holder was repairing his motor vehicle on the roadway, when two men approached him and robbed him.
The motorist is reported to have pulled his gun and fired several rounds, hitting one of the men.
The police say the other man escaped.
They say a Glock 9 millimeter semi-automatic Pistol and twelve 9 rounds were taken from the alleged robber.
