It depends on the state. They don't use it in Carlifornia. There is probably more use in New York but even there the uber rich travel by limousine or helicopter. Chicago maybe half and half. In Washington the rich wouldn't be caught dead on public transportation. Bottom line I understand the philosophy behind the statement but a bad analogy as it pertains to America. More analagous to Europe and the UK.
