  • this middleeast situation

has the potential to be a huge game changer. it reminds me of iran 1979 for some reason. obama needs to do some research on the missteps made by carter

I am sure he has, but even with all the information these situations are risky.

See what me mean bout unexpected events? fortunately Romney has already put his foot in his mouth.

Lol. Well Obama is patient and calculating if nothing else. He may have an opportunity to shine here and end this contest.

Yeah I agree. One thing though, US embassies should have been on alert for possible 911 attacks, and I believe the incident in Libya was preplanned. The State Department messed up on its security arrangement for the consulate in Bengazi. I doubt there were any Marines in the compound providing security for the US staff.

Yes that was strange that they did not have better security. Somebody screwed up with that?

Don't tell George Bush Jr. You might wake him and Cheney outa them cave.

I dont agree with you about the middle east as a game changer except the oil supply to the US,killing Bin Laden took the who is stronger militarily arguement off the table,or off the republicans play book,Romney screwed himself royally by not acknowledging the troops in his convention speech, the only game changer is the economy ,and that has to do with fuel prices , god forbid Saudia Arabia gets overtaken by extremist and stop selling the USA oil.

That sure as hell wont happen anytime soon.People are concerned about the economy and after being sensitized to a black president & his fight for the middle class & poor (white america) feels safe with him.

Caaan loose, unless gas prices go up radically.

what if instead of killing the ambassador, they had taken him and his staff hostage and made demands?

yuh figget how war can distract from the economy?

Even after all Obama administration has achieved the message on Obama weak on foreign policy fits right in with the "he is not one of us"...and is giving 'his people' (nations hostile to the USA) a bly!
