Ridiculous Question, Boss!!

Our dialect (patois) has no formal grammatical structure as yet, meaning that the rules vary according to persons and place, as they do in every other dialect.
So, first the rules of patois have to be established and agreed on, followed by its usage in teaching Standard English. Trust me, this will not be an easy task! This, even more than the translation of the Bible into patois, will cost a lot of money!
And again, to touch on Muadib’s question, since EVERY other English-speaking Caribbean country has its local dialect which is spoken by the inhabitants, why aren’t countries like St. Kitts, St. Vincent, etc. (all having dialects that sound very Jamaican) stressing out themselves about teaching their dialect?
