alright. Not saying we don't need better laws but the system of giving bligh and ingrain corruption is killing us, and nobody pays.

you need to be able to enforce tickets for them to have any effect...

Economic Malpractice results in lack of money to implement properly integrated information system.

      eventually you will get it...

I doubt the wrong side of the road parkng law will pass, It is legal in England to park on any side of the road and I think we have a lot of law makers who have ties to the English system.

The others I can see passing.

A senior citizen who has a lot of influence in the community saw some robber with a gun pass her house and she refused to call the police, she told me "a mi you want them kill?" She said you tell the police and them tell the criminals who come looking for you.

I am convince it is not so much the laws we make, it is how we stop loopholes and make people pay. We have tax laws in place and look at the compliance rate? see how many drivers who a drive around with so many outstanding tickets? some should be in jail.
You are wrong... it's economic malpractice to blame.. i.e. the PNP

          Didn't you get the memo??

Many NY cops are corrupt and the quota system is their primary driver in executing their corruption...and oh yes.. their racism as well

We cant deny that corruption exist but can we acknowledge that the technology used to enforce the quota system works to bring down crime irrespective of the civilrights (profiling) and corruption issues, its up to jamaica to use it as they see fit,i have yet to see a government system that is not corrupt or which cannot be corrupted.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

well think about this, who elects the corrupted politicians?

We know they are corrupted yet we elect them even when a third party.

Could not agree with you more, HL!

On a radio show a few week ago, the question was whether it was important for drivers to be literate. To my amazement, most people did not think it was important! Now, maybe that will explain why you can expect to see the bad driving for a while longer.

Now, of course, that is not the only reason why the driving sucks. One of the main reason I believe is easily 90% of Jamaican do not actually take the driving test.

And the other reason for the dangerous driving is just plain indiscipline and a sick idea that wi a di best drivers in the world. Didn't Bruce think so as well? And look where he steered us into!

                    (Sorry, couldn't help myself!)
