I fail to see why some of these people can't be given space inside the stadium or OLY park, instead of the damn junk/crappy food that is usually sold there.

Business?. That sounds like blind thieving. The British have that down to a science, anyway. They have had over five hundred years to perfect thieving and money laundering. This is only my opinion and I truely believe it.

yes it it the role of government to make sure small business compete. These people have been given a ruff ride. Without government setting the right environment to grow business we will have no entreprenueur.

Govt should try to keep away from picking winners and allow a balance playing field. The city council in England should make sure the ethnic markets in NY enjoy some of the business. There is enough to go around and it is temporary.

Absolutely Sass. Unregulated crony-capitalism always leads to monopoly. Just ask Jamaica which is a basket case over the last 50 years. JPS, Cable and Wireless, Sports and Games Ltd, Andrew H. B. Aguilar, D and G, Stanley Motta(check spelling), Hall Bros, I could go on and on and name company after company which have benefitted from one corrupt admin after another and killed the Jamaican spirit. The pigs get fat and the hogs get slaughtered. Let us see what happens over the next 50 years. Doesn't look all that better.
