I have not followed this case closely. However, is it alledged that these men were deported without due process? These men are not convicted of anything, and they will stand trial.
One poster said that many alledged drug dealers plead guilty before trial, which is indeed the case. When the prosecutor presents its case, I will be surprised if this goes to trial, and the defendants are likely to plea bargain for a lessor sentence.
