Barbara LaFleur, 49, was arrested in Ballston, N.Y., on Tuesday after she walked through a lumber store and a convenience shop naked.
An upstate woman came a little unglued and went strolling naked through a lumber shop and a convenience store as if she didn't have a care in the world, police said.
Employees at Curtis Lumber in Ballston told the Albany Times Union that Barbara LaFleur, 49, casually chatted up employees and asked what time it was before sauntering out Tuesday.
"Have a good day," LaFleur breezily told lumber yard workers, according to the newspaper.
The woman then stopped by a nearby Stewart's convenience store, where employees were less than amused by her impromptu peep show.
"The manager said 'Ma'am, are you aware you have no clothes on?' She was kosher and cool about it, and the manager told her she needed to leave," a Stewart's employee named Terry told the Times Union.
LaFleur was arrested a short time later — after she put her clothes back on — and charged with misdemeanor public lewdness.
A mental health evaluation found no sign of mental illness, authorities said.
"It appears she must have been engaging in some sort of free expression," Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy II told The Saratogian.
