Prejudice of the white race against the black race is not so much because of color as of condition;
because as a race, to them, we have accomplished nothing; we have built no nation, no
government; because we are dependent for our economic and political existence.
You can never curb the prejudice of the one race or nation against the other by law. It must be
regulated by one's own feeling, one's own will, and if one's feeling and will rebel against you no
law in the world can curb it.
Prejudice can be actuated by different reasons. Sometimes the reason is economic, and
sometimes political. You can only obstruct it by progress and force

Far too little unfortunately.

We all have a part we can play. My focus is on the youths, yard and abroad.

As a people we haven't given our best and in some case not even a try. I wonder how people feeling going through life and not trying anything they felt they were good at.

Pity that African Americans in the 1920s when faced with a choice between Integration carried by DuBois/NAACP and the Garvey/UNIA Black Nationalism Movement..... chose the wrong pill

Babylon was hugely relieved by that...it made Marcus a much easier target.

Some people look at life and think: Nothing tried, nothing gained

Then there are others that think: Nothing tried, nothing failed!

A big part of our problem is that we sit around and wait for heroes to come along. They will from time to time however the hard, tedious but necessary work is done by the nameless and unsung heroes over decades.

So when man a talk bout we need another Marcus or another Miss Lou or Manley or whoever, that is just yapping.
