Truly ironic prose!! I wonder how many poor people in Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Clarendon and elsewhere would agree with this highlighted statement, because in the midst of this so-called “(tattered) freedom,” there is the undeniable fact that “countless gallons of (THEIR) blood are (still) being spilled in the Jamaican soil” on a weekly basis!

Or did the writer just arrive from the Moon?
