In the latest force orders, Police Commissioner Owen Ellington outlined some of the measures for reducing fatalities at the hands of the police.

One such option is the firing of warning shots.

Commissioner Ellington noted that this is not currently allowed under regulations but that it is being considered to allow cops to fire warning shots in a safe direction.
