THE Government's $525 billion budget, which was shaved several weeks ago by $21.5 billion, has now been upped by just over $11 billion.
This change is reflected in the third Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure tabled in Parliament today by the administration some four weeks after it tabled the second Supplementary Estimates reflecting cuts in spending for the remainder of the fiscal year this March.
The $525.2 billion budget is now $536.4 billion.
According to the administration, the changes in the budget were consequent on changes in the amounts allocated from the Consolidated Fund to two public bodies.
