BTW...it was just last week I was posting on the robotics club FB that they should start doing an independent robot build using the Kinect UI ...http://www.wired.com/magazine/2011/06/mf_kinect/all/1 ....check out the nice video at the end of the page
Kinect can easily be interfaced with LabView which is one of the programming modules US FIRST uses for the Tech Challenge..... the kids are already familiar with the software...so that transition to autonomous machine navigation in 3D should be a layup..
I guess that now means dat mi haffi find couple Kinect fi sen guh gi dem ...aaahh bwoy
