A special Barbados report has described as a fabrication, allegations made by Jamaican Shanique Myrie that she was subjected to an unlawful cavity search by immigration authorities last year. The incident reportedly took place as she sought entry to the island on March 14 .
The Barbados report which was commissioned by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart shortly after the well publicised incident is now being made public for the first time. It revealed that a comprehensive and thorough police investigation had found Ms. Myrie’s finger-rape allegations not to be true. Her case is now before the Caribbean Court of Justice
