Finance Minister Dr Peter Phillips has tabled the Supplementary Estimates in Parliament which shows that government spending has been cut by $22.4 billion.
The proposed new budget is $525.2 billion.
Parliament in August, had approved an increase of $2 billion in the national budget, taking it to $546.8 billion for the fiscal year, up from the J$544.7 which was approved in April.
