LOVED ones mourning the shooting death of former tourism industry executive Edgar Gallimore were yesterday attacked and robbed at his St Andrew home by thugs posing as his friends, less than 24 hours after his murder.
Sources told the Observer that the mourners were at Gallimore's Shortwood Road home in the afternoon offering condolences to his mother when one of the gunmen, pretending to be a friend, walked in, hugged Gallimore's mother, then pulled a gun and demanded money.

The mourners were robbed of cellphones after it became clear that there was no cash to be had, according to sources. No one was hurt in the incident.
The St Andrew Central police have since launched a manhunt for the robbers.
It was not clear yesterday if the robbers were involved in Gallimore's shooting about 3:30 pm outside an ATM on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston on Sunday.
According to a police report, Gallimore had withdrawn an undetermined sum of cash from the machine when he was attacked and robbed. The robber fled on a motorcycle.
However, sources close to the case said that Gallimore had gone to the ATM to lodge an undetermined sum of money taken up as collection at a Kingston church.
Gallimore reportedly drove to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries before dawn yesterday.
Yesterday, as news of Gallimore's death circulated, those with whom he was associated expressed shock and paid kind tributes.
"I remember him as a hard-working and very creative person with big personality. He will be sadly missed," said Nicola Madden-Greig, director of marketing and sales at The Courtleigh Hotel and Suites.
Hotelier Robert Russell, who knew Gallimore while he worked at the Spanish Court Hotel, said: "I was very impressed with how efficient a person he was. He was also very hospitable."
Attorney Howard Mitchell, another friend of Gallimore, said he was "devastated" by the news.
"He was a very valuable member of the community. He was an innocent man," said Mitchell.
Said William Rodgers, acting president and CEO of Air Jamaica: "I think it is very sad what has happened."
