... but dem behind....the Debt/GDP ratio now is about 135%... and rising

The 15 Countries That Are Buried Under The Most Debt

    1/16

    #15 Portugal

Debt as percent of GDP: 83.2
    5-Year CDS spread: 565.04
Debt outlook: Former PM Jose Socrates said Portugal's debt burden fits the EU norm. The country's public debt is expected to rise to 86.6% in 2011 and will only begin to decline in 2013, according to Bloomberg. In a bid to reduce its debt burden the country has put in place austerity measures and is raising its taxes, but it may still need an EU-IMF bailout.
Debt ratio provided by CIA. CDS pricing provided by CMA Datavision via Bloomberg.

    JA's - way forward?
The task: Reduce debt while increasing production and putting more people to work.

The solutions: Massive infrastructure program(s)...wooing of investors (increase investments)...*increasing production...

*Inclusive is ramping up 'production' of, and exodus of graduates - Massive 'export' of nurses, teachers and others!!!!

      ok...noice

The solutions: Massive infrastructure program(s)...wooing of investors (increase investments)...*increasing production...
Massive infrastructure programs = Massive debt increase... AKA more of the same "muddling along". We've seen that Massive Infrastructure movie for the past 50 years of Mediocrity

Wooing investors: ok ...but to do what?? The sectors targeted are the key shot

*Inclusive is ramping up 'production' of, and exodus of graduates - Massive 'export' of nurses, teachers and others!!!!
      2 likkle problems

Who will replace these professionals in the short term...when the loss of the services they provide increases suffering and backwardness??

Where will these professionals be exported to...over and above where they''re ALREADY going?? Babylon needs jobs for their own people...so that massive export ting is a non-starter

The true "massive infrastructure program" Jamaica needs is a massive revolution in education. The ROI if it is correctly done will be OUTRAGEOUS.... far greater than the ROI from building or re-building more roads for expensive, imported gas-guzzlers or ports for fat, trinket-loving tourists.... Memba mi tole yuh dat

We're still operating in the 20th Century in education (say where the state of the art was in 1990) Instead of being ahead of the curve which gives the country a CHANCE at success...we're 20 years behind... which GUARANTEES FAILURE.

Time to Step Up Inna Life to Century 21.... Digital Yard to di Werl!
