Haha !! good question but that is not unique to JA

I don't mind and with drugs an terrorism a big concern better safe than sorry BUT a big question is why do travellers arriving in Mo Bay from Kingston on a Air Jamaica jet have to go through immigration.....6 years ago I flew from Kingston to Montego Bay on an Air Jamaica flight and was promply hauled up to Immigration and Customs the moment I set foot on the ground.

What does drugs and terrorism have to do with going through immigration on an outbound flight? It is useless...once you bock your ticket the authorities check all your information anyway...so this is just a duplication of tasks...something we are very good at in Jamaica...

Try this...if you park at Mobay Airport and the name on the car registration does not match the name on your drivers licence they will not let you exit the car park...and they are rather proud of this idiotic system...
