Add up the universal year numbah:
2012 and you get 2+3 = 5!
We are in a FIVE year.
Five is freedom and expansion. Five is serendipity and is a dynamic/catalytic energy. Five is non-linear and is not controllable. Five is impulsive and magical.

Interesting posts. We should also remember the words of Isaac Asimov who thought that talk of aliens building the Pyamids was nonsense. He thought that this theory basically emanates from the mindset of Europeans not being able to handle the fact that black people were able to build a structure which displayed a knowledge of physics, geometry etc which surpassed European knowledge at the time. Incidently, this same mindset was on display when Europeans saw the Zimbabwean ruins. This time the assumption was that some European must have built it.

Racism is always a factor in life and it is possible that the Africans were very advanced at the time when other races were not. We see a similiar situation today where some men have airplanes and spacecrafts and yet we have uncontacted tribes in Brazil without any technology.
It's quite possible that Africans built the pyramid and that they were more technology advanced that the other races at the time but there are things that don't make sense. For example, we are told that they cut and laid stones without advanced tools but that is not supported by the perfect cuts and alignments in the structures. Something is fishy.
The Dogan people of West Africa who are probably the only direct desendants of the ancient Egyptians who retained the culture of the ancient Egyptians said the technology was given to them by beings from the Sirrus star system and they have been stating facts for hundred of years about Sirrus star system that NASA later proved to be true. How did they know? Something is fishy.
I don't know what is the truth but I something is not quite right.

Here is what we do know: The structures were built, they were built by the so-called primitive people. What we don't know is how they did it since the structure implies knowledge which Europeans didn't have at the time. Therefore, this implies some alien effect. Under normal circumstances no rational or scientific based thinker/scientist would make this proposterous leap in logic but in this case it is seriously considered. Coincidence, I think not. Think about it, you discover a wonderous building created in antiquity you can't figure out how it was built therefore aliens may be responsible. Is that the normal thought progression in any other case from any rational thinker. That wierd white scientist Isaac Asimov didn't think so and I tend to agree with him.
How does that explain the other bigger point Time made? Some of these structures could only be conceived and executed if seen from an aerial view. These structures extend for miles!
Are you saying that we had flying machines thousands of years ago?
What of the ancient religious writings that refer to aerial battles and such stuff?
In other words, what you say may well apply to some structures, but it fails to cover the entirety of mysteries that TIME has brought up.
I am saying that if there were flying machines thousands of years ago aliens didn't build them. I fail to see the logical scientific thought process that underpines the asssumption that because you can't figure out how something was done then it must have been done by some extra terrestial entity. If we did this in any other scientific endeavour we would be rediculed. We assume that a certain level of scientific knowledge starts at a certain time because this is what we have been taught and our reality as we understand it reinforces this. When we observe phenomena that turns our Eurocentric assumptions on its head what do we do? Do we question the validity of the original assumption as we would in any other case when the assumption does not conform to observed reality? No, instead we search for explanations that in any other case would be rediculed. Essentially the problem is how did they acquire knowledge that we thought we invented? Well must have been aliens that's how? Now I can return to the usual thought pattern.

Isn't is true that most of us believe the ancient israelites account of beings with wings coming from the heavens but we don't believe the ancient Egyptians, other africans, babylonians, greeks, incas, mayans, red indians who all told a similiar story? I am not saying that aliens exist, I have never seen one and I don't know anyone who has seen but why believe one set of people and not the others?
