    One of the country's leading trade union figures, is conceding that the country's unions need to review their image to match changing work patterns and work force dynamics.
    Head of the Hugh Lawson Shearer Education Trade Union Institute Danny Roberts, thinks the adversarial role adopted by trade unions in former years, may not be the most effective means of negotiation.
    He's suggesting that now is the time for introspection.
    Mr. Roberts added however, that despite this reality, trade unions are needed now more than any other time in the country's history.
