Roderick Reid - K.C. (1992 – 1999)
Roderick's crowning achievement at Kingston College was being appointed headboy of the school in his final year. He was apparently murdered in Jamaica on 29th January 2011. His avid love of music and out-going personality were the catalyst that pushed him in the realm of a Promoter. He was credited with promoting some of the most successful parties in and around the Corporate Area. At the time of his death, he was enrolled as a student at the Law Faculty of the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Barbados. He was also a former secretary of KCOBA (Jamaica), succeeding the legendary Basil Waite who did not seek re-election.

Popular party promoter Rodrick Reid will appear before the courts today to answer charges of indecent assault and gross indecency after administering alcohol to a minor with the intent of committing an indictable offence. He is accused of molesting a boy who was under his supervision

“Reid is accused of crimes committed in his capacity as a probation officer. He has not been involved in Yesterday for several months. While Mello Vibes, an event he is not affiliated with, is geared towards adults, young people don’t come to our event, it is catered to an older demographic. What many seem to overlook was the careless manner in which the past admin handled itself. Case in point; when the Golding admin refused to follow protocol went around the newly appointed ambassador, tried to seek audience with the US president. Golding was deferred to Hillary; who literally scolded him in front of the media (look for the JIS video with Golding and US secretary of state) Marks had a hand in this.

It's my belief that PSM is working hard to avoid future embarrassment on the nation's behalf; hence the appointment of someone with a degree of expertise in diplomatic relations.
