Today, Tim Cullen withdrew from the Democratic primary, leaving Kathleen Falk as the only announced candidate. Tom Barrett, mayor of Milwaukee, has not yet announced if he will run for governor. He is running for re-election as mayor.
As your article stated, Walker took "his laser-like focus on creating jobs" (his words) on the national right-wing fund raising circuit. He raised 4.1 million dollars, 61 per cent of which comes from out of state. Meanwhile, Wisconsin has lost jobs for the past six months while the rest of the USA is adding jobs.
In campaign finance statements filed recently, Barrett's campaign has about $411,000 cash in the bank, and Falk's campaign has about $26,000.
