Mrs. Alison Stone-Roofe has been appointed as Jamaica's first Ambassador to Brazil. This was announced by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator A.J. Nicholson. Mrs. Stone-Roofe who has served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for over 20 years is to commence her duties as Ambassador in April 2012.
