I think he is right on most counts. I have never agreed with those on the left who say Obama is "weak" or "timid" because he doesn't play hardball with the Republicans most of the time. He is playing to his strengths if you ask me.

I must be one of the few people on the planet who is more impressed with Obama the president than Obama the candidate, but thats because I never really did buy into the warm and fuzzy "Hopey,Changey" message.

As President he as actually DONE most of the major things he did promise: Health Care Reform, end Iraq War, go into Pakistan without permission and kill Bin laden if opportunity arises, repeal Dont Ask Dont Tell. Given the political and economic climate he has had to operate in I think that is quite impressive. Not all were as successful as hoped, health care reform in particular has not been anywhere near as popular as most of us expected but he certainly forced the issue when he thought it was necessary.

The Republicans have only one thing left and that is the economy. It is a big one but in the short term it is looking like things are going in the right direction for him. Not to mention that the Repugs are going in panic mode and not sure who to back. Based on a FL poll I saw this morning they are swingint back to Newt big time after Romney being 20 points up a week ago.

Obama don't even start to make his case yet.

Unnuh start to get a glimpse of WHO is Obama? Tip of the iceberg! Question: what if McCain was elected president? Remember his contribution in suspending his campaign and racing back to Washington to help with a solutionto the financial crisis?
