Story is the son is now doing the rounds trying to distance himself from his father, even claiming to be a long-time supporter of the lady. Problem is, no one seems ready to buy his story and as he is not the only one coming out of the woodwork, the claim is be viewed like the others - "purely opportunistic".

I know too many companies in Jamaica with divided loyalties politically. I worked for one of them. Owner is JLP, wife is PNP, or son, or brother...whatever! The company may be known to be primarily for one party, but it tries its best to cover all bases.

Any SENSIBLY run corporation MUST pander to BOTH parties and almost equally, with a leaning to the one that might facilitate your business efforts more... at the end of the day the corporate entity will have to work with any given party in power... IMO corporate loyalty is NOT to the party per se but the bottom line.
