Chairman of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), Godfrey Dyer, has resigned.
Dyer, who says the position was a political appointment, tendered his resignation on Thursday.
He is among a number of persons, who have resigned from the public service since the new People’s National Party Administration was elected.
He said he resigned to give the new tourism minister the freedom to appoint who he wants.
Dyer said he would consider returning to the post if asked.
