I heard this American saying for the first time when I lived in Alabama-- late '70's- early '80's. An old lady we called Miss. Hattie said it.
I just did not understand the saying...until lately.
When I saw the graph below--for some unknown reason "God don't like ugly" popped in my mind. I now understand what the saying meant.
The republicans are hell bent on destroying the economy. They object to even their own economic policies. They have decided to sacrifice the country's economic well-being...just to destroy president Obama.
I am not a religious person, but God has a way of using Karma to run things.
