    After complaining about the JLP break front with 18 members is not a good start for Portia but let us hear her explanation later

      Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller has selected 19 other ministers to form her Cabinet.

      After one hour and nineteen minutes of delay to the start of their swearing-in ceremony at King's House, the 19 members of the Cabinet of Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller have been sworn in.

      Simpson Miller has also named eight junior ministers who will serve in her administration.

      Simpson Miller was critical of the 18-member Cabinet appointed by Prime Minister Bruce Golding after the 2007 general elections saying it was too large.

                    Did you really expect the young, new comers to be named to senior cabinet positions?

                    I think the cabinet will shrink in about two years, to give the young state Ministers to learn from the dinosaurs many of who will not be going back to the polls.

                    Omar, Pickersgill and a few others a least five said this would have been their final election.

                      For a likkle country, Jamaica appear to have a massive government structure. [Big government].

                      I would like to see the organizational chart under each Minister/Ministry.
