THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

um.. you first need the economic conditions in the country that drives investment that drives growth... how do you replace Bauxite, Remittance overnight ???

I think you are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

You clearly have no clue about the level of dysfunction the PNP left behind.

So we dont have anything that we can market .sell and get valuable forgein exchange resources from, we are in a game for our lives.

Cubas tourism sector is growing ,a girlfriend of mine (jamaican) went to cuba for christmas, if I posted arrival numbers to cuba Sass would be impressed, our agricultural base could earn valuable forgein exchnage, sports tourism .

We just dont have a clue , except to make excuses, i.e venezuala has oil, lets not forget they were in good graces with the USA/IMF when they were broke.

We have to seize our future without ruffling the US feathers we cannot afford this, they can.

                      Reality check

Nevertheless, Manley's successor and conservative political opponent, Edward Seaga, was also unable to turn the economy around during his first six years in office. The economy experienced sporadic and unsustained growth in the early 1980s. GDP declined by 4.5 percent in 1985 but rose again in 1986 by more than 2 percent. In the mid1980s , the Jamaican economy was about where it was in 1980 in terms of real GDP. Negative growth in the 1980s was generally attributed to the acute decline in the world bauxite market.

State your sources instead of the usual propoganda. What Jamaica had was calm ,unlike the 70s.Dont get confused. The stats dont lie

Try that in a country where the people vote out a politician because he hasn't done anything for them while acknowledging he has done good for the country...people in these countries sacrificed self-aggrandisement for the betterment of their country...
