Stinger gang boss, crony held

THE alleged leader of the Stinger gang, which has been running amok in sections of the Kingston West Police Division, and his crony are now behind bars.
Police identified the alleged gang leader as Dacian Pellington, the leader of the Stinger Gang.
Pellington, police say, was held with a Glock 45 pistol, with eleven .45 rounds and was charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition. He is also a suspect in a case of shooting with intent.
The other man, who was not identified by police, is to face an identification parade.
He is suspected by police to be a high-ranking member of the gang and was held in connection with a separate shooting incident in the community of Arnett Gardens, also known as 'Concrete Jungle', recently.
