Emerging dancehall prodigy, KroniK delivered a maturecomposed set on the Show billed as “The Greatest One Night Reggae Show On Earth”,Sting 2011. The young deejay performed at approximately 12:30, after most ofthe “Fresh Faces” had already done their thing and was well received by theSting crowd, that is universally accepted to be one of the toughest in theworld to please.
His performance was particularly noteworthy as his music hasnot enjoyed as much rotation on local radio as it has done internationally, butthe Jamworld audience seemed to warm to the artiste, appreciating what manyaround the world have already seen.
Interestingly, due to miscommunication between the organizersand the artiste’s management, he was not afforded any rehearsals before theevent but the deejay commanded the stage with aplomb and confidence that beliedhis relative inexperience in the business.
