  • If you think you see bling

That video of he Jamaicans in Britain on the boat rode we saw the other day is a joke thing...a few hundred mile sup the road in Ireland is the real thing

Happened on a documentary a few nights ago, not sure if it was Nat Geo, History or Discovery but one of those, it was about Irish Gypsies, travelers they call themselves and rights of passage for their young girls...

there is the First Communion where those getting communion are dressed top the nines and taken to church in limos wearing ostentatious outfits including diamonds on their eye lashes and make up for the babies while the older girls wear tight skimpy outfits...for church.

the next stage of life is the wedding day which comes for the girls when they are between 17 and 19 and this is when the pedal meets the metal...the designer of choice told the program that one dress took ONE MILE of material after the bride chose the design in a cartoon on tv.

One girls's dress was big she could not sit on the seat in the limo and was also suffocating by the time they got to the church.

For the weddings there is another custom, the groom is carried to the altar as he gets smashed at the pub with his boys...
Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
