The last one was very impressive too, seems they have better writers in the party than performers in the cabinetSolidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

Why wait until so close to the elections to release both of these modicums which are quite heavy in information...which undecided voter will really go into these documents to try and make up their minds as to which party is best to vote for?
Waste of time.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

JLP manifesto contains more details -Analysts

Analysts say both major political parties appear to be headed in the same direction in terms of the policies outlined in their manifestos, but that the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has given a clearer picture of how it will achieve those objectives.
The JLP released its manifesto yesterday, a week after the People’s National Party unveiled its own document outlining its plans, should it form the government after December 29.
Analysts Kevin O’Brien Chang and Dennis Chung said the JLP manifesto contains more details of how the JLP will execute its plans for the country.
However, Chung said Jamaicans could still miss the message, as he said at 126 pages the document is too long and repetitive.
Chung also said he is not satisfied that either of the political parties have given enough attention to how they will resolve the social issues facing the country.
In the meantime, political analyst, Kevin Obrien Chang, said he is particularly interested in a proposal by the JLP, to improve transparency by proposing that important appointments be approved by two thirds majority parliament.

PNPYO: JLP manifesto a mere wish list
The People’s National Party Youth Organization (PNPYO) has dismissed the JLP’s manifesto as a mere wish list that is lacking a clear direction and substance.
The PNPYO said the JLP manifesto is a prescription for creating more economic disaster in a fragile economy.
President of the PNPYO, Junior Rose said the Jamaica Labour Party continues to present goals that it does not have the capacity to achieve.
He said the JLP manifesto should be revised and re-issued to Jamaicans.
