In Georgia a percent of the lottery is used to provide free Pre-K for all students in GA to go free if they want, and all college bound student with a B or higher go to college free at any Georgia institution.

The government could simply tax put a tax on all casino client and legal gamblers to go towards eduction. That is the reason we elect representative to find a way to make it happen.

Do you know if anyone who was kicked out for non-payment? just asking how strictly this was enforced. To my knowledge my parents never shelled out FOR TUITION; in my days though, (started 1st form in 68) I got a "free place" while others did pay ...

How do you define "free education"? I consider it not having to pay tuition fees. Yes, they could come up with some bogus fee like for instance, "sports fee" to get something out of you... but we should understand what we mean by free education before we have the discussion.

In a perfect world students should get tuition, uniform, books, hell even a computer, lunch, bus fare and all... but we know that is like finding a snowball in hell, so...
