For those on the forum who know me well, If I ran in your constituency, would you vote for me? I expect to get interesting and some surprising responses.

Seriouly though, i have never had two decent candidates to choose from and I am glad my vote got switched form North West St James to Central St James where it could actually make a difference.
I have never had to seriously sit and think about who i am voting for and weigh the pros and cons as mostly on one side there were too many cons...Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

The problem is that i knew all the candidates on all the ballots I have ever marked.
True story, the last local government election I went to vote at a primary school, just after I marked my ballot and was leaving the polling station the PNP candidate came by and thanked me loudly.
Two minutes later when i left the school compound and was heading to the car, the JLP guy saw me and came over to shake my hand and thanks me for the vote.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

i would only vote for you, if you espoused socialist principles... i know the word socialist makes many cringe, yet they support many of the principles... even adore many countries with socialist principles... they just hate the word... lol...'to get what we've never had, we MUST do what we've never done'
