Inflation slowed in November
Consumers saw the slowest increase in prices for the last 10 months in November.
The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) says its measures show prices rose only 0.4% in the month.
It was the slowest pace of price increases since there was a general reduction in prices in February.
The slowing of price increases in November resulted from reductions in the cost of electricity, gas and other fuel costs which offset some of the increases in food prices.
With November's price movement, consumers have seen prices gone up an average 5.6% since the start of the year and 7.1% over the longer 12 month period.
