If in fact there was wholesale, indiscriminate slaughter in Tivoli by the security forces, as appears likely, then:

1. By providing logistic support for the operation through a live video feed and perhaps other, as yet undisclosed means, the US Govt would be complicit in the crimes.... this would be a significant international "situation"

2. If that is so... I don't see how a Congressional hearing and more exposure can or should be avoided

3. Clearly both the US and Jamaican govts have vested interests in keeping the images secret...hence the utter confusion by MONS Nelson (a real buffoon) and Young Turk PM Prince Holness

Yuh can not claim it was a massacre when yuh infer that the takedown in Tivoli resulted in a reduction of crime. If yuh claim that there was a reduction in crime as a result of the Tivoli offensive, then criminals were eliminated.

A massacre and a resulting reduction in crime are not mutually exclusive states

A massacre is a crime...crimes of that nature should be investigated and the criminals held accountable...otherwise we enable fascism

The Tivoli criminals could have been "eliminated" by legally permissible state violence or detention and prosecution once captured

NNN read a report of a inquest on some of the bodies from that event ... men from Hanover, St. James, Manchester, St. Catherine etc were all killed.

If gunmen are attacking police & soldiers, and they were defeated, the response was lawful. Massacre gives the impression that persons were mowed down in the street without legal justification, and that is misleading.
