  • Dwight Nelson does not know Dudus but knows thugs in Woodfor

Dwight Nelson was accused of pulling a firearm on PNP supporters in Woodford Park today, however in a swift response , Mr Nelson says nothing like that. Mr Nelson when contacted , indicated he went into the area having received reports that JLP flags were being pulled down and burned. He indicated that when he entered the area he was confronted by PNP thugs. He said he knows they are thugs as he recognizes one of them who was in fact WANTED by the police.

So how did Mr Nelson recognize this no name thug while he did not know Dudus?
Did Mr Nelson make a report to the police that he has spotted a wanted man in the woodford park area?

Is Mr Nelson lying or not ?
    What do you think?

Nelson is a LIAD who has no place in government or public office. If he wins, Andy should keep him away from his cabinet.

This Nelson guy is a total idiot. Once one is perceived as a liar, he has lost all credibility and nothing he says from here on will be believed. I don't see how he could be a part of any government in the future.

I believe Mr Nelson. He has a police escort wherever he goes. He would have no need to pull his firearm and the police would have intervened.

Police seek PNP supporter for questioning

                              Barbara Gayle, Staff Reporter

There is a new development involving People’s National Party supporter, Rohan Rowtham who had an altercation with the National Security Minister Dwight Nelson yesterday.

The police have contacted Rowpham’s attorney, Bert Samuels, saying they want to question his client in relation to an incident.

Samuels said the police told him they have a warrant for Rowtham in relation to a shooting, which took place in the past.

This comes a day after Rowtham made a report to the Central Police Station in Kingston about the confrontation with Nelson, who is the prospective Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate in South East St. Andrew.

Samuels told The Gleaner he found it strange that the police want to question his client considering that they had the opportunity to do so when Rowpham filed a report against Nelson at the police station.

The attorney said he is of the view that the action of the police is a reprisal because of the status of the person against whom the statement was made.

According to reports, Nelson went into the Woodford Park community in the constituency after JLP supporters summoned him, saying tension had heightened because PNP supporters had pulled down JLP flags and replaced them with orange ones.

Nelson told The Gleaner that he was accosted by a group of PNP supporters and while there was a verbal altercation.

“I even saw a well-known man in the midst of the PNP supporters who was wanted by the police,” Nelson had said.

Nelson also dismissed as propaganda the claim that he pulled his firearm at the supporter.
