  • PNP uses Twitter to dispute Holness’ claims

As the Prime Minister addressed Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) faithful in Manchester last night, the People’s National Party (PNP) took to the social networking site Twitter to dispute some of his claims.

In one tweet, the PNP rejected the Prime Minister’s claim that the JLP has been the better manager of the Jamaican economy.

Your bank account can prove to you that we are better managers of the economy, the PNP said on one tweet.

The PNP also challenged a claim by the prime minister that there were no job losses for Jamaicans during the recession.

However in one tweet, the PNP retorted: “Over 120,000 jobs have been lost”.

This has to be a strategy. Didn't the man say Public Sector jobs?

The same argument came up on NNN this morning. Holness should understand what he is dealing with ....from the clip they picked it up in the middle of the point. The previous sentence he said public sector jobs.

Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
